Happy Summer! It is beyond hot here in the bluegrass state, almost unbearable. How are you holding up where you are? I started this post as a fitness motivation post for myself and then quick realized I that I honestly just needed to ask for motivation from you all. Truth is I find it hard to go to work, go to the gym and come home to work on my other businesses (blog, plant nite, wedding stuff), as well as do household things (cook, clean, laundry). How do you all do it all? How do you keep it straight? With the wedding being less then 100 days away I guess I am asking for suggestions. What works for you?
1.Quick and easy workout routines (30 mins or so)
2. Daily schedules on household chores (day you do each task and for how long)
3. Business ladies: How do you work a full-time job and run your other businesses?
4. Brides: When you are 100 days out from your wedding what task do you suggest to make sure everything is organized and ready?
I honestly think this post could help many who are in need motivation or ideas. If you have any suggestions bring them on! Also I am speaking my workout into existence with this cute athleisure outfit, shop similar ones below.

Summer is around the corner! So what’s in your shoe closet? As you know shoes can make or break your outfit. With that said I am a fan of a statement shoe that can be worn for many years to come, as well as be used to accent multiple outfit choices. This is why I am rounded up some of my favorite shoes of the summer. Shoes from heels to mules to espadrilles, and many more. Everyone needs a couple of these in their closet. Check out my summer picks below. What shoes are you wearing this summer?

Hi All! I have totally been a slacker! I need some motivation to get my life together and get in shape. I have around 125 days till the big day so I need to get it in gear. What workouts are you all doing? I am looking for something that will get me toned, meaning it incorporates weights. I am good at the cardio part of working out but I am not sure of a good weight routine. Definitely open for suggestions. What has worked for you? September will be here before I know it!
One thing that is always motivating to me is athletic wear or athleisure. Having the perfect outfit while getting your excise on is a must! So I have picked out some of my favorites and linked them below. What are you wearing while working out?
All black everything is definitely a fashion statement, wouldn’t you say? I love an all black outfit! Why? Because black is easy, it is slimming, and it’s powerful. In my opinion almost everyone looks good in black, so why wouldn’t you wear it?
In this outfit I paired black faux leather leggings (which are amazing by the way), with a chunky knit sweater, and my favorite houndstooth coat to give it a little dimension. My accessories are a little different than usual, which I am excited about. I have on tennis shoes, or as my fiancé would say runners (it’s all about where you grew up). I like this mixing of casual with “fancy”. Topped it off with a hat. I usually don’t wear hats, but I am quickly learning to love them and may add some to my collection.
What is your favorite all back outfit?? Shop mine below.
Have you started your Christmas shopping? I have my list ready, but haven’t officially started. Some people are just harder to shop for then others. Who do you find hardest to shop for? Men? Well I got you covered.
For the Techie or gadget guy the Echo
or Fire Stick
are great gifts to add to their collections. These two pair well with your smart phone and smart TV.
Fitness guru? Try these sneakers
or this pullover
. No need for him not to have fashion sense while at the gym. The traveler, a great carry-on
is key to carry all your essential on the plane, especially these headphones
. For the stylish guy these dress boots
or this card holder
will make a statement.
For the no fuss guy this sweater
is a must.
What does the guy in your life like? Happy Shopping!
The first day of college for many university students is starting soon. Whether you are a freshmen or a senior you should always be prepared, especially for the stylish undergrad. I was always told first impressions stick. Considering this you should look your best and be ready for the first day. I have rounded up many of the supplies, clothing options, shoes, and bags you will need to get through not only the first day but the first semester.
The stylish underground first needs a cute planner to keep your assignments and social calendar organized. I would suggest this one here, not only is it girly and colorful, you can choose to write your information on the two page calendar each month or use the weekly pages that allow for more space and detail. The fact that it has stickers does not hurt either. Other supplies need for school are this item here, these, and this. Once you have your supplies you will need a fashionable backpack to keep it all in. This one is super cute. If your are not into backpacks this tote here will definitely do.
Now on to the clothing. Jeans and a nice tees are a must for college students because they are easy and you can dress them up or down depending on your accessories. One of my favorite pair of jeans are these here. They fit great and are under $100. As you know a good pair of denim can be pricey so finding good ones that last, and will not break you is pretty hard. A v-neck tee is essential to have in your wardrobe because they are easy to throw on and go good with most pants, skirts and shorts options. This tee is great and is a neutral.
The next question is….what are you going to wear on your feet? Tennis shoes or gym shoes are best if you are walking long distances across campus. I like these because you can wear them with any color, but if you are trying to be a little more fancy these decorated high-tops or these flats will definitely add more to an outfit.
For those Fall and colder months try a button down. I like theses two, here and here. Also a denim jacket is great for fall. What are your favorite back to school items? Shop my picks below. Enjoy! Have a great first day if you are a student or educator.
Father’s Day is Sunday June 19th and if you are racking your brain on what to get your dad or the father of your children, I have you covered.
Sometimes it is hard to choose something for the fathers in your life. If your guy is into sports or exercising a suggestion might be new athletic attire such as a pair of shoes (like these here), or a dri-fit t-shirt (here), or even a sports watch (I like this one here). If your guy is more into style and fashion he may enjoy these sunnies, or a nice leather belt (found here). Cuff links are always a good choice. Whatever the father in your life is into I am sure you can find something to please. Shop the rest of my suggestions below.
Here are some of the things I was and currently still obsessing over this past month. Since winter is coming a good pair of duck/snow boots are a must. I have linked my favorites below. I also love a stylish pair of tennis shoe, a good bag and anything with a bright color. What are some of your November Obsessions? Check out my obsessions below. Hope you enjoy!
