Flex Friday
Flex Friday or Fitness Friday whatever your fancy make it count. Lately I have not been making it count and I am definitely feeling it. This is the same old song and dance and I am ready to change it. Not as a New Year’s resolution but like now. I am ready for barre, cycling, and maybe another 1/2 marathon, who is with me? This is ridiculous, but it is my own fault. I should start a support group for the “I use to workout, but fell off”. Who wants to join? But in all seriousness I feel like I am ready to get back and I have noticed that I do better working out in the winter. There is no better time then present. Hello World! How is your week? Mine? Trying to get back to some normalcy. Wedding, work conference, I feel like I need a vacay. Anyway, I am ready to bring on Fall weather. What about you? I love wearing cute jackets like this one below. They are great to ward off some of the cold weather. Army green is very popular right now. A jacket like this makes the outfit, especially with all the colorful details. It is pretty much the center piece to build the rest of the attire around. Pairing it with neutrals, such as white jeans, nude heels and a tan tank, allows for the detail to pop. This is a perfect outfit for fall. Shop it below.

Finally Fall
It’s finally fall and in some places it really feels like it in others not so much. Fall is my favorite time of the year. I love sweaters, boots, scarfs, and anything pumpkin. Are you a fall lover? One misconception about fall is that you can’t wear white. Well…that’s not true and these white jeans will definitely be on full rotation until at least November, if not longer. I paired them with an off the shoulder sweater, which is perfect for this time of the year since we have mild morning and warmer afternoons. I brought in some browns with the wedges and tote to complete the outfit. I am partially to brown and tan tones because they are a neutral and go with almost any skin tone. These colors are a staple for fall.
The funnest part about this shoot was it was like 90 degrees and humid, and I am over here preparing for fall content. That is what a blogger does! 🙂 Happy Fall Y’all! Shop this look below.

Guess Who’s Back
Guess who’s back, back again! I took a quick break from blogging to do some wedding and other business stuff but now I am back. The wedding is two weeks from today and I feel pretty calm about it, but ask me how I am doing in a week, lol! Anyway, fall is among us. Actually the first day of fall is my wedding day. So how are you transitioning to fall like weather? Me, with cute dresses and booties of course! Like in this outfit, it is perfect for those still warm afternoons and even cooler mornings and evenings. Booties are probably one of my favorite things about colder weather. I plan to add some new ones to my shoe closet this season, so stay tuned! What are you looking forward to this fall?

Motivated in Brooklyn
Last week I was living my NYC dreams. This city is by far one of my favorites. I always get the sense opportunities are endless there. As I looked out at the vast cityscape and the Brooklyn Bridge it excites me! The energy is there and the motivation is there. It reminds me to not sit on my dreams and help others to reach their’s too.
