Flex Friday

Shop: Tank (similar one, two) | Sports Bra | Leggings | Shoes | Nails

Flex Friday or Fitness Friday whatever your fancy make it count. Lately I have not been making it count and I am definitely feeling it. This is the same old song and dance and I am ready to change it. Not as a New Year’s resolution but like now. I am ready for barre, cycling, and maybe another 1/2 marathon, who is with me? This is ridiculous, but it is my own fault. I should start a support group for the “I use to workout, but fell off”. Who wants to join? But in all seriousness I feel like I am ready to get back and I have noticed that I do better working out in the winter. There is no better time then present. And working out isn’t complete unless you have cute workout clothes right? Shop some of my favorite athleisure picks below.

Motivation

Happy Summer! It is beyond hot here in the bluegrass state, almost unbearable. How are you holding up where you are? I started this post as a fitness motivation post for myself and then quick realized I that I  honestly just needed to ask for motivation from you all. Truth is I find it hard to go to work, go to the gym and come home to work on my other businesses (blog, plant nite, wedding stuff), as well as do household things (cook, clean, laundry). How do you all do it all? How do  you keep it straight? With the wedding being less then 100 days away I guess I am asking for suggestions. What works for you?

Suggestions on:
1.Quick and easy workout routines (30 mins or so)
 2. Daily schedules on household chores (day you do each task and for how long)
3. Business ladies: How do you work a full-time job and run your other businesses?
4. Brides: When you are 100 days out from your wedding what task do you suggest to make sure everything is organized and ready?
I honestly think this post could help many who are in need motivation or ideas. If you have any suggestions bring them on! Also I am speaking my workout into existence with this cute athleisure outfit, shop similar ones below.

Athleisure

Shop: Tank | Leggings | Shoes | Watch

Hi All! I have totally been a slacker! I need some motivation to get my life together and get in shape. I have around 125 days till the big day so I need to get it in gear. What workouts are you all doing? I am looking for something that will get me toned, meaning it incorporates weights. I am good at the cardio part of working out but I am not sure of a good weight routine. Definitely open for suggestions. What has worked for you? September will be here before I know it!
One thing that is always motivating to me is athletic wear or athleisure. Having the perfect outfit while getting your excise on is a must! So I have picked out some of my favorites and linked them below. What are you wearing while working out?

Up for Anything

Shop the Up for Anything Tight: 7/8 Length | Capri | Crop

Are you sticking to your resolutions?? I am motivated to reach the goals I set for 2018. That is why I am voicing them to my followers, so you can keep me accountable. My first resolution was to take better care of my skin (day 10 and I am still all in!), and now my second is to wear stylish athletic clothes (lol!), no really it is to get in shape for my up coming wedding (September will be here before you know it), but I definitely plan to be stylish while doing it. This is why I have fallen in love with the Athleta Up for Anything Tight. These tights are amazing and here is why:

*The versatility of them are what you are looking for. From barre to pilates to strength training or a 5k run, these tights are definitely Up for Anything.

*They are made from a new sculpteck light fabric so the fit is light weight and they have lighter compression then most, that still allows full movement with support. Basically they are super comfy and you are going to want to wear them all the time.

*They have pockets!! No one is probably more happy about this then me! Athlesiure attire with pockets are my favorite. It means you can go straight from working out to running errands or vice versa. The tights have enough places to hold all your personal items while on the go. There are 4 pockets- 2 side stash packets, 1 zip pocket, and 1 internal key pocket.

*No flip waistband. How many pants have you had that flip over at the top? I hate that. These don’t roll at the top.

*Athleta even thought of safety. The 7/8 and full length have a reflective trim sewn into the bottom hem on the inside. So when you go for that early morning or night run, you just flip up the hem for a much needed reflective feature.

Tell me you don’t already think they are awesome and you haven’t even tried them yet? 🙂
