All Woman, All The Time

All Woman, All The Time…who else would you rather be! I feel that this year is definitely one for the Women, meaning that more women are living their dreams, starting businesses, taking on careers and positions that they never thought they would. The time is now! What are your set goals to accomplish in the next weeks, months, and even by the end of the year. One goal or promise that I have made is to share with my audience my progress on my personal businesses each month and upcoming exciting things I will have going on the pertains to them. This way you all can keep me accountable. Each month I plan to do a quick video update with you all. If you missed the one for January, find it here. The one for February is coming soon. And what is a better way to reach your goals then to look great and feel great while doing? I am not a power suit type of girl (no shade to the power suit, either lol!), I like to do style my way. So in this outfit that is exactly what I did. Pairing a leather pencil skirt with a bright sparkly sequin top, and a black jacket. This is a perfect day to night or work to play outfit. For work I would button a couple buttons on the jacket and have a little peek of the tank show and for night and going out leave all the buttons undone.
Lastly I want to quickly mention the health component to getting my life together. I am starting Faster Way to Fat Loss on Monday. I am fully committed to working on me, which means health, fitness and wellness. So I have decided to do that journey with FWTFL. Beverly Hills, What A Trill!!

“Beverly Hills What a Trill”! Who else loved this movie as a kid?? This tee takes me back to my youth and I am quoting lines from the movie as I type this, Lol! Anyway, the tee goes perfect with this outfit. I like pieces that I can wear in all seasons. Pretty much everything in this ensemble I can do that with. Maxi skirts are great, light, airy and free flowing. They are an item that you can wear with a variety of tops such as sweaters, tanks and even tees (like I did here). And a jean jacket is a must in every girls closet. I just upgraded my jean jacket to this one that has pearl details, and I love it. I feel like jean jackets are something that you can keep forever and never go out of style. I like this one because it is oversized, so size down when you purchase. I finished the outfit with my favorite snake skin booties and a black fedora hat. This is a perfect everyday look, shop it below.

When Your Husband’s Shirt Fits

When your husband’s shirt fits you, you obviously wear it!! Lol! This shirt was a christmas gift to Ben from his mother all the way from Australia. When I saw it I said “yeah I am going to have to try that on, and probably do a shoot in it” Lol! Anyway I just love how cozy it is. I found a similar one that is very affordable (here). I paired it with my favorite faux leather leggings and peep toe mules. You know I always have to add a little bit of my personality to my outfit, and I did that with my fold over leopard print clutch. This is a perfect comfy everyday outfit and the hubs better watch out because this shirt might just end up in my closet.

The Perfect Sweater Dress

It is officially cold and they are calling for snow in my area this weekend! (#NotReady) But when  there are freezing temperatures I am all about the sweater dress, and I have found the prefect one which is on sale for $27 right now. It’s so good I bought it in both colors. I am wearing a medium, I would usually go for a large but I feel it fits a bit big so you may want to size down. I am really into the layered look so I paired it with a faux vest, which goes great with almost anything. And what goes better with a sweater dress then over the knee boots? 2018 Reflection and 2019 Goals

New Year’s Day for me is about reflection on the past year and goal planning for the new year. What about you? I am a big believer of if you don’t speak it into the universe it may not happen and my husband always says “if you fail to plan, you plan to fail”. So here is a little video of  goals and expectations for 2019. And you best believe I am not limiting myself to this and will be updating my goals and plans each month to share with you (so keep me honest and make sure I do it). I have always heard that what you are doing on NYE and New Year’s Day is what you will be doing for the rest of the year. So on NYE I was cleaning and decluttering/organizing (with a little champs toast with the hubby at midnight). New Year’s Day Shooting blog content and writing a blog post. If this saying is true, then I am heading in the right direction (At least I think so).

How to Style a Coat to Wear All Day

Is anyone else always cold? I mean especially at work. It’s like they have the thermostat on Antartica. This is why I always have a coat on. I have become pretty good at styling my coats with my outfits. The worst is when you have to wear some random coat that doesn’t match because it is freezing, am I right?? So I like finding outerwear that is neutral, that I can layer over almost any color. Investing in neutrals allows you to wear it with many different outfits. I styled this blush neutral crepe coat with an ivory tunic and pleated striped skirt. I accessorized with leopard, which has become a trend in my post. But I do keep many neutrals on hand to bundle up.

Fancy for New Year’s

The holiday’s are here and 2019 is around the corner. But before we get into the new year we have to celebrate NYE, right? What are you wearing for NYE? Me…a dress of course. This little black one to be exact. Things with sequins are really on trend right now, so this dress is perfect for this time of the year to add some sparkle. Living somewhere cold you always need a blazer, Like this velvet one. If you know me you know I always like a bit of color in my attire, so I opted for a dark pink/cranberry color in my earrings, lipstick and clutch. If You Have Sliver Shoes

If you have sliver shoes….you should definitely rock them! Especially with a leopard faux fur coat. This coat is amazing not only is it stylish, it is super warm and affordable (under $50). It goes with almost any color, considering leopard is a neutral, but I love to wearing it with black….. like I did with this outfit. The black makes the prints in the coat and purse pop, as well as the other colors in the outfit. This purse….I can’t say enough about it. I get compliments on it all the time. It is perfect if you want to add a little color to your outfit. I found it for 40% off (here). And this hat, I thought I wasn’t a hat person but….I official am.
