Olive Shorts

Shorts | Top | Handbag | Jewelry (earrings, watch, bracelet) | Sandals (similar) | Lipstick | Nails | Sunnies

Sometimes you just have to be easy breezy! Meaning your outfit should be stylish yet comfortable.
Although I am a girl who loves a good reason to dress up, I do enjoy the times where my outfit can be  low key but still put together. I achieved this look by pairing olive shorts (found here), with an off white lace top (similar one here). I then added my favorite cross body handbag (here), tan flats (similar), and gold jewelry to match (earringswatchbracelet). I finished the look with a bright pink lip (found here) and a pair of tortoise shell sunnies (similar). This look is easy and can be worn as casual dress to hangout with friends or to run errands. A good pair of shorts are always great summer staple. Shop the rest of my look below.

AMI Clubwear

Romper (similar here, here) | Jewelry (necklace, earrings, watch) | Jacket | Shoes | Sunnies
It’s romper season and I love a good romper! What about you? They are great for casual wear with flats or dressed up with a nice pair of heels. This particular one (found here) is from AMI Clubwear. Check out their website. They have some awesome summer staples.

I paired the romper with a jean jacket (here) to add a bit of color and a more casual look. Opting for sandals, found here, because I spent this day picking strawberries at Huber’s Orchard & Winery with the girls. If you live in Kentucky or Indiana I definitely suggest a family or friend outing to Huber’s.

No outfit is complete without jewelry. I definitely get my moneys worth out these earrings and necklace. They are by far my favorite and have been on full rotation since I got them. I finished the outfit with a pair of tortoise shell sunnies (similar here). With warmer weather in sight, rompers will be one of my summer staples. What is your summer staple?

Lauren James

This Lauren James Scalloped Seersucker skirt (found here and here)  is the perfect skirt for the preppy girl. It is great for the summer months.

You have probably seen many seersucker pieces at horse racing events at the track or even a polo match. It is definitely an easy material to style and looks great with many other items. I paired this  skirt with a white v-neck (here), tan flats (here) and a oversized tote (here). No outfit is complete without accessories, so I added my favorite blue earrings (here), a nautical bracelet (similar here and here), and a watch (here).

If you are in the market for seersucker or any other great pieces Lauren James has many stylish ones to choose from. Check out their website here and shop my look below.

Great for date night, a get together with the girls, and for a beach vacation. I love that this maxi is navy and white stripes instead of black. Navy is such a classy color. It can be worn 5 different ways: cap sleeves, halter, one shoulder, strapless and regular sleeved . I like to wear this one with either the cap sleeves or the regular sleeves as you will see below. I paired this maxi with my favorite leopard clutch (here), stylish sunnies (here), and white sandals (found here). My earrings and bracelet came from Swell Caroline (website here). Happy Saturday ! How was your week? Mine was good but I wish it actually felt like Spring not like Fall. Ugh! This is why I am day dreaming about still being in the Palm Desert, where I shot this look below. The Palm Desert is beautiful. If you have never been you should definitely put it on you bucket list, but just not in the dead of summer because it gets hot. Real Hot!
This look is one of my favorites.  It was great to roam to the shops of El Paseo, the Rodeo Dr. of the Palm Desert. I wore white denim skinny jeans (found here) and paired it with a button up polk a dot shirt (similar here and here). I accessorized the outfit with Kendra Scott Jewelry (earrings here, necklace here), a leopard belt that I think goes with everything (here), this hunter green cross body (similar here and here), and these tan sandals that are sure to be on rotation all summer (here). I am such a fan of mixing patterns such a I did with the polk a dots and leopard because it adds a little personal style to an outfit. The watch I am wearing is from Wristology, website here. They have great watches for women. All different styles and colors. Use code: AA20 for 20% off and free shipping. Alli Travels: Coachella

Life is always an adventure. While in the Palm Desert my boyfriend and I took a few days and drove to San Diego and LA. Well since Siri said that there would be traffic the way we planned to go, she rerouted us (as she usually doe). She took us on some back roads and we were all kinds of confused and wondering where we were.

I am so glad that she did because we would not have gotten to see this beautiful view at Coachella Valley Vista Point.  Has this ever happened to you? Driving in the middle of nowhere and then something awesome happens? If you are ever in the Palm Desert it is worth the drive up to see. This instance reminded me that in life you have to sometimes go through the curvy back roads to get to something beautiful or to get to where you are suppose to be. Life Lessons!!

Anyway for a road trip outfit I like to be what I call the 3 C’s: casual, cute and comfy. This bodycon dress (similar here and here) with some Sperry’s (here and here) is my idea of comfortable. I paired them with my favorite sunnies (here, similar here) and leopard clutch (here). Finished it off with black dangle earrings (here), and a little arm candy (watch here, bracelet here, Fitbit here). Shop the rest of my look below. Hope you enjoy!

A little Bit of Leopard

Warmer weather is coming soon and I am a big fan of shorts, a button up and heels. What is you go to Spring and Summer outfit?

Shorts paired with the right blouse and accessories can dress an outfit up so that it is acceptable to wear to a social gathering with friends or even on a date. I took a simple black button up (found here, similar here) and embellished tan shorts (here and here), which are simple staples found in most women’s closet, and took them to the next level by adding a bit of leopard. These heels (similar here and here) clutch (here)  and leopard belt (here) are my favorite, which you are probably able to tell if you follow my blog and  Instagram, add a pop of color and texture. I finished the outfit with gold disk earrings (found here), a black beaded bracelet (similar here), sunnies (here) and my Wristology watch (website here. Use code: AA20 for 20% off). Accessories can change up an outfit and give it a new look. Shop this look below. Hope you enjoy!

Friday Five 3/25

If you follow my blog you know that I am a big fan of Valentia Skin Care products. I have many of their products for women, which I will link below. Since I love them I wanted my boyfriend to try their Men’s line of skin care.

There scrub for men (which can be found here), let me just say it smells amazing. He has been using it for the past couple days and he said he really likes it. He has not used too many scrubs but would definitely incorporate this into his daily routine because it doe not really take up anymore time then what he was already doing. This scrub removes dead skin cells, deep cleans pores, and  removes excess dirt and oils. It also helps prevent irritation from shaving, such as razor bumps and ingrown hairs. It is formulated with coconut oils to help hydrate skin and establish the skins natural antimicrobial barrier leaving the skin smooth, nourished and more firm. The Valentia scrub help fade acne scars and reduce clogged pores. I might steal this back from my boyfriend and use it myself.

Some of Valentia Skincare for Women favorites are here, here and here.

Everyone can use a good pair of headphones now of days. Whether it is for music streaming, hands free calling or to cancel out noise on an airplane. Many of these headsets can get pretty pricey. Yes they do great things, but spending hundreds of dollars on a pair isn’t in the some peoples budget. Well I have a perfect pair for you. The Ausdom M05 Bluetooth Wireless Headphones (found here, expensive ones here). These headphones can be used both wired and wireless. They are well under $100 so they do not brake the bank.  The headphones have a super soft ear cushion that provides long lasting comfort, 20 hours of battery usage, 40 mm speaker drivers for clear listening. The ear cups rotate for easy storage and transport. They also come with a storage bag. These headphones are definitely a great alternative to the more expensive ones and I have really enjoyed mine.

In a world where everyone is aware of our fitness, health and weight sports gadgets are a dime a dozen. Many can be very expensive. It is affordable and does what you need it to do without all the extras. It provides accurate time keeping with a stop watch.  It is waterproof for your water sport activities. It has an alarm, calendar (with date, week, and month). It is shock resistant that is suitable for outdoor and indoor sporting activities. Who is a watch girl? I am! There are some many beautiful watches that can add a little flare to you jewelry stack. If you like to change them up often to go with different outfit, that can get a little expensive. So I have the solution to that. These two particular watches are from a company called Wristology (website here) (similar watches here and here). They have affordable watches, with many styles and colors to choose from. Wedding Season

Who is ready for Spring? I definitely am. I  cannot wait for the days of cool mornings and warm even hot afternoons and evenings. In the spring and summer I love to wear dresses.

They are the easiest thing to put on and can literally be worn anywhere. To work, church, a wedding and out with friends. Since spring and summer are big time wedding seasons I put together a look I plan on wearing to an upcoming wedding this summer.

I love this floral dress (similar here, here, and here). It is great for an indoor or outdoor wedding. I paired it with a white blazer (found here and here). Blazers are awesome for coverups for sleeveless dresses especially for outdoor or evening wedding. I literally have 6-8 blazers because they are a great compliment to almost any outfit. I accessorized this outfit with Kendra Scott earrings (here) and necklace (here) Watch is from Wristology (found here), use code: AA20 for 20% off of any watch.
