Flex Friday

Shop: Tank (similar one, two) | Sports Bra | Leggings | Shoes | Nails

Flex Friday or Fitness Friday whatever your fancy make it count. Lately I have not been making it count and I am definitely feeling it. This is the same old song and dance and I am ready to change it. Not as a New Year’s resolution but like now. I am ready for barre, cycling, and maybe another 1/2 marathon, who is with me? This is ridiculous, but it is my own fault. I should start a support group for the “I use to workout, but fell off”. Who wants to join? But in all seriousness I feel like I am ready to get back and I have noticed that I do better working out in the winter. There is no better time then present. And working out isn’t complete unless you have cute workout clothes right? Shop some of my favorite athleisure picks below.

Home is the Key: Chico’s Basic Essential Slub Tee

My last blog post explain what the Home is the Key Campaign is all about (read that post here). It is a wonderful campaign with an amazing cause that works towards combating the affordable housing crisis here in the US. I have chosen to collaborating with them by showing off my style in this Chico’s Basic Essential Slub Tee. Chico’s and Chico’s FAS brand stores have partnered with Habitat for Humanity by allow their customers to donate in store and online to help with this cause. Each Chico’s FAS brand stores (White House Black MarketChico’s, and Soma Intimates) have chosen a product to donate all proceeds when purchased to Habitat from April 23-May 31. For Chico’s that item is their Basic Essential Slub Tee, which I am wearing in this post. It is truly the perfect tee because of its high low design that allows it to be longer in the back and shorter in the front, which is great for leggings or that half tucked look. The shirt is super comfortable and works well with jeans, liked I paired it here. I added some cute accessories, such as my legacy belt, beaded earrings and a clutch that showcases one of my favorite fruits, pineapple (which means hospitality and friendship). Style yours anyway you like, considering the tee can go with almost anything.

There are many ways to get involved with Home is the Key. Check out their website (here) for more information.

Summer Nails

Nail color: Base (here) Sparkle (here)
Summer time is for bright nails, sun dresses, and cocktails on the patio. Who is with me?

I love to use the summer as a time to be creative with my nails. It is a way to add color to an  otherwise boring outfit. It is also a way to express yourself creatively. Manicures and pedicures are great, but sometimes it is fun to do your own at home. In the summer I tend to go with bright colors, such as this one, and this one. If you follow me on social media you know my favorite color to wear at anytime of the year is this one here. What are your go to nail colors? Shop the rest of mine below.

Hello all! I hope everyone is staying warm if you are in cold snowy temperatures like I am. How many of you love doing your nails or having them done? If so,  have you tried Jamberry Nail Wraps yet? I tried them for the first time this week and love them. Jamberry is a company that makes quick and simple nail wraps that you can do at home. Seriously it took me 20 mins. If you are a nail girl like I am than you know how awesome that is. How many times have you wanted to do your nails before going out and there was not enough time for them to dry? Or how many times have you done your nails and messed one or two of them up trying to get ready? #Me. Jamberry solves that problem! There is no waiting for your nails to dry or applying coat after coat to get that perfect shine. All you have to do is match the nail wrap to your nails, warm the adhesive with a blow dryer, apply wrap to clean nails, and apply pressure. Then use a cuticle pusher to seal around edges, and cut or file off the excess. See it’s that easy and only takes a matter of minutes.

Ready to try Jamberry? How about a free sample? I have partnered with Kami Lingren, Advanced Consultant for Jamberry Nails to offer you a free sample of Jamberry Nail Wraps. You will not be disappointed!

All you have to do is follow @absolutely_alli and @Itskamsjams on Instagram. Then click on the link Here to get your free set of Jamberry Nail Wraps.
