Happy Friday! It is actually feeling like Spring today for the first time, and I couldn’t be more excited! What about you? I am so over the cold and snowy weather. Now that it has warmed up, what do you wear? Well for me its leggings of course. I love the faux leather ones, which are great for Spring, considering that in the morning and evening the temperature maybe a littler more chillier. I styled the leggings with a black tank, which is perfect for that afternoon warmer temps. I paired the outfit with a tan moto jacket to give it a little color. Added a couple of accessories and wedges and I was good to go. What are you wearing today??

Not Yet Spring

What is this weather doing? One day snow and freezing, the next day it feels like summer. When this happens it is hard to know how to dress. My suggestions is layers upon layers, it is the only way to get through the day. This transitional weather is just right for a thin leather jacket (which I like to call my going out jacket), paired with the right outfit its perfect. These faux leather leggings are my favorite and have been on heavy rotation during these colder weather days. With this layered look, I added a lot of textures, solids and patterns to the mix. When I pattern mix I like to stick to the same color or colors that compliment each other so it looks like a cohesive outfit. All in all this outfit is great to take from day to night. Transitioning to Spring with Pattern and Color

Some days it might not feel like it, especially with this crazy snow, but the first day of Spring is literally around the corner. I am looking forward to warmer weather and bright colors as you can see from my outfit. This Spring I am all about the bold solids and leopard anything. In my book leopard will always be a neutral, and this blouse compliments almost any bold color you can find. For this outfit I paired a yellow blazer with cream and gold details, with this leopard blouse. If that was not enough pattern and color I added a pop of red with a clutch and lipstick. It’s All About the Floral

Spring is always about the flowers, right? Who is gearing up for the warm weather to come? This girl right here, I cannot wait! What is more perfect then a floral maxi for this time of year? It is so fitting because the blooms will be coming soon. This dress is from Agnes and Dora, it is super comfortable, as all their clothing are. I would size down in many of their pieces because they run big. I paired it with a belt to give myself more of a waist, which I think compliments it well. The belt buckle is an A for Alli of course! I accessorized wth a matching clutch, which I love. It is one of my favorites, and the taupe color goes with almost everything. Finished the look with gold bangles, a red lip and peep toe sandals.

Pink is My Color

When you know your color, you know your color! I have always been a lover of hot pink and thought that it looked great on my skin tone, so that is why I had to embrace this super comfy and causal dress by Agnes & Dora. Pairing it with this navy vest made the bright pink color pop and these two colors together compliment each so well. During transition seasons and weather being unpredictable, over the knee boots are a must; which go great with this outfit. I always finish my outfits with some accessories: a pom pom necklace and a suede cross body pull it all together.

The Perfect Belt

Perfect outfit, perfect belt! I can truly say accessories can make an outfit pop. This geometric fitted dress is great on its own, but when you add a belt with a legacy letter buckle (A for Alli of course) to compliment it, it pulls the whole thing together. I mean who doesn’t want their initials on their belt? (Find your legacy letter here). Further accessorizing this outfit was my main goal, as you can tell. All Black Everything

All black everything is definitely a fashion statement, wouldn’t you say? I love an all black outfit! Why? Because black is easy, it is slimming, and it’s powerful. In my opinion almost everyone looks good in black, so why wouldn’t you wear it?

In this outfit I paired black faux leather leggings (which are amazing by the way), with a chunky knit sweater, and my favorite houndstooth coat to give it a little dimension. My accessories are a little different than usual, which I am excited about. I have on tennis shoes, or as my fiancé would say runners (it’s all about where you grew up). I like this mixing of casual with “fancy”. Topped it off with a hat. I usually don’t wear hats, but I am quickly learning to love them and may add some to my collection.

Coming In Hot!!

With this weather, who doesn’t need a faux fur coat?? I mean it is perfect! This coat is from Baciano, if you have not checked them out, you should! They have some stylish on trend pieces for everyone, from dresses to jackets to sweater. This faux fur coat looks great with almost anything. I paired it here with a black Agnes & Dora dress and tan knee boots. Let’s not forget the accessories, which can make any outfit. Sunglasses, earrings (that give a pop of color), and a clutch that compliments the necklace perfectly (which was a gift from my future mother in law, all the way from Australia). Baciano Jacket

Hello Monday! Does it seem to you that the weekend goes by too quickly? Like you need another day between Sunday and Monday? I know I am not the only one. Serengeti Coat

Get it, while the getting is good! This Serengeti Coat is almost gone so if you are in love with it, then I am here to tell you that it will be going away this Friday (January 19th) for good. The coat is made of Mohair wool, which means it is super soft and warm. Plus, the pattern is gorgeous. Every time I wear it I get compliments on it. I paired the coat with skinny jeans and a black tunic. It has quickly became a staple in my wardrobe and it is the perfect piece for travel and being a tourist. I accessorized with a suede hobo cross body and tan booties. If you are on the fence about the coat it is so worth it!
