I think that dresses are the most easiest and stylish piece of attire that any woman can wear. An all in one outfit with no stress of finding coordinating individual clothing that comes together to make a full look. This dress is one of my favorites and it is no surprise that it is animal print. I like the thicker material that it is constructed with, which makes it great for Fall. I bought this dress at a local boutique (Work the Metal), but have linked similar ones below. I paired it with black booties, a black leather cross body, added some color with my sunnies and these cute earrings.

Hello World! How is your week? Mine? Trying to get back to some normalcy. Wedding, work conference, I feel like I need a vacay. Anyway, I am ready to bring on Fall weather. What about you? I love wearing cute jackets like this one below. They are great to ward off some of the cold weather. Army green is very popular right now. A jacket like this makes the outfit, especially with all the colorful details. It is pretty much the center piece to build the rest of the attire around. Pairing it with neutrals, such as white jeans, nude heels and a tan tank, allows for the detail to pop. This is a perfect outfit for fall. Shop it below.
I have always been a city girl! I love the busyness, all the people, the buzz in the air, and the feeling of motivated people getting from one place to another. Are you a city person or do you like things a little more slower pace? Either way this dress is perfect for a night out in the city. The details work great to hide any parts you don’t want to showcase, as well give your figure some shape. For the fall this dress pairs well with booties or over the knee boots. I accessorized with a brown leather clutch, leather earrings and burgundy lipstick. This is a date night, girls night out, or a night at the theater to see a broadway play type dress. It’s finally fall and in some places it really feels like it in others not so much. Fall is my favorite time of the year. I love sweaters, boots, scarfs, and anything pumpkin. Are you a fall lover? One misconception about fall is that you can’t wear white. Well…that’s not true and these white jeans will definitely be on full rotation until at least November, if not longer. I paired them with an off the shoulder sweater, which is perfect for this time of the year since we have mild morning and warmer afternoons. I brought in some browns with the wedges and tote to complete the outfit. I am partially to brown and tan tones because they are a neutral and go with almost any skin tone. These colors are a staple for fall.
The funnest part about this shoot was it was like 90 degrees and humid, and I am over here preparing for fall content. That is what a blogger does! 🙂 Happy Fall Y’all! Shop this look below.
There comes a time in life when you are so busy that you have to find outfits that carry you through the day. This outfit here is one of those. I go straight from work to meetings and sometime after that to social function, so this means I have to be prepared to look the part. I do this by wearing layers. Adding a cardigan to an outfit makes it perfect for work. As the day progresses you can lose the sweater which gives your outfit a whole new look. Also wearing a shoe that is appropriate for work as well as cute enough for social outings is key. Since it is bootie season I opted for a open toe bootie, which is comfy but stylish.

Sometimes you just have to stop and take it all in. We are all too busy and never really have time to enjoy life and the people who are in it. Everyone should just take a minute, sit down and take in their surroundings. Like I am doing here, people watching and pondering the moment.
While doing this. There is no need for you not to look your best! I am loving this dress and matching jacket, which I got from the Chris Yates Shop in Mount Eliza, Victoria, Australia. If you are ever in Melbourne you should definitely head to Mt. Eliza and visit the Chris Yates Shop. I paired this outfit with bright suede booties to give it a pop of color. I accessorized it with a leopard belt, gold jewelry and my favorite tassel clutch.
This outfit is great for day and night. Wear it to work with the jacket during the day, then shed it at night to go out with the girls for a glass of wine. Whatever you have going on or if you are just pondering the moments this outfit is perfect. Shop it below.
Happy Friday! What’s on your weekend agenda? I hope something fun. Mine? Playing catch up as usual. But I won’t let a busy weekend cause me not to be stylish. And you shouldn’t either! It is easy to plan out an outfit that can carry you though the weekend. Like this one I styled below.
Take a simple pair of skinny jeans that almost everyone has in their wardrobe, pair it with a shirt that has a patterned or flattering design to give it some flair. I love this leopard print button down from the IHXDay curated collection (found here
). It is a staple in my closet, because like I always say leopard is a neutral and can go with almost any solid color.
I accessorized with a black cross body
that had gold accents, a pair of hoop earrings
and basic black heels. This outfit is simple and easy to create. It can take you from day to night throughout the weekend. During the day throw on some flats to run errands or go to a game. At night rock the heels for date night or girls night out.
What is your favorite pattern? Obviously mine is leopard! Shop this outfit below.
Happy Tuesday! How was your weekend? Mine was great! Spent sometime in Wisconsin for a wedding. The weather and scenery were beautiful there, not to mention the lake I got to look at everyday (Pearl Lake). Also, not to be a dream taker, but soon it will change to fall like weather, so I thought I should take advantage of the unseasonably warm temperatures and wear above the knee dresses with bare legs.
I paired this navy dress with nude heels and accessorized with a bright beaded belt. I finish the outfit with this gorgeous clutch/ cross body, gold jewelry and topped it off with a bold orange lip (basically saying I am ready for fall). I think this outfit is perfect for a wedding, going out with the girls or a business meeting. I consider it comfortable, yet stylish.

Although many of us are not ready for Fall, it is around the corner! I can feel the chill in the air today! So I have rounded up some Fall staples that I think you need in your closet. A pair or two of skinny jeans should always be on deck for many occasions, here are two of my favorites (one, two). Booties are all the rage for Fall and what I am most excited about. I am definitely adding these to my collection and this pair is great too. If you are a heel girl, this pair has always been a staple in my book.
As the temperatures get cooler many love to add a wool hat. Let me suggest this one which comes in heather oat and charcoal gray. You are also going to need a scarf. These two (here and here) from the India Hicks Fall Curated Collection are stunners and will be conversation pieces. Use them to add a pop of color to an otherwise boring outfit.
Every girl needs three bags! Yes I said three. A crossbody for everyday causal to go with jeans, leggings and sweaters. The work tote to carry your laptop, planner, and files. And the going out clutch for date night and social events. See you need three! You always need jewelry to dress up your outfit. A statement necklace is key. This one is a favorite. Every girl should have a pair of hoops. I like these because they can be worn day or night and they are the perfect length. I personally am a bracelet girl, so I love to have some arm candy. I am adding this cuff to list of purchases and I love this bangle as well.
What is Fall without adding a little leopard?? As I always say leopard is a neutral. I am loving this blouse, this scarf to jazz up a solid color outfit, and these heels. What are some of the things you consider staples in your closet? Shop some of mine below.
Street style is the best style, whether it is comfy casual or all out fancy! My street style for today is more of street chic. This maxi skirt is my favorite you can dress it up with heels and a fancy shirt like I did here or you can make it more casual with a graphic tee and your most comfy sneaks. I accessorized the outfit with a cross body, trendy gold jewelry and stylish sunnies.
