Always a Dress Girl

                           Shop: Dress | Earrings | Sunglasses | Watch | Booties | Lipstick
I think that dresses are the most easiest and stylish piece of attire that any woman can wear. An all in one outfit with no stress of finding coordinating individual clothing that comes together to make a full look. This dress is one of my favorites and it is no surprise that it is animal print. I like the thicker material that it is constructed with, which makes it great for Fall. I bought this dress at a local boutique (Work the Metal), but have linked similar ones below. I paired it with black booties, a black leather cross body, added some color with my sunnies and these cute earrings.

Take Me Back to Sydney

Seriously take me back to Sydney! Which is a city in New South Wales, Australia. Sunny skies and great views, who would not want to visit?  There are many attractions and picturesque scenery to keep you busy while you are there. Definite must: The Sydney Harbour Bridge, if you are adventurous you can climb the bridge or if you like to keep your feet planted on the ground you can walk, cycle or drive over it. Another must is Australia’s iconic Sydney Opera House. Located close to the harbour of Circular Quay. You need to see this majestic site for yourself. While you are there have a cocktail at the Opera Bar . If shopping is your thing take a stroll thru The Rocks, an urban distinct that is full of artist, shops, and restaurants; where you will find anything for aboriginal art, to homemade soaps, paintings, and t-shirts.
One thing I love about Sydney is that they use their waterways to their fullest ability, whether it’s to sail, taking the ferry to work or home, or to dock a huge cruise ship. There are always boats in the water. While you are there make sure to visit Darling Harbour, Sydney’s largest recreational and pedestrian precinct, the Royal Botanic Garden, and Bondi Beach if surfing is your thing. There are many amazing places to visit in Sydney so if you ever get the opportunity take it.
Where is your next adventure? Stay tuned for mine!

Salt Life w/ Charming Charlie

Take me back to the Bahamas! White sand beaches and very blue water….who wants to come with me?? No seriously, if you have the opportunity to take a getaway to the water do it, you won’t regret it! And while you are there your outfit and accessories should be tops on the list, I mean after you get a tropical cocktail with a little umbrella! 🙂

Sunny Day Street Style

              Shop: Pants | Handbag | Flats | Vest | Blouse | Sunglasses | Nail Polish | Earrings

Nothing like a sunny day when it has been cold and cloudy. Took the opportunity to soak up some rays yesterday with my boyfriend and his good friend that is in town from Australia. I chose a chic but comfortable look for exploring an area of town called the Highlands here in Louisville Kentucky. We also stopped for coffee at Quills, which is one of my favorite coffee shops in town. I paired black skinny jeans with one of my favorite light and flowy tunics, and a salt and pepper vest to give it a little more texture. I finished the look with purple aviator sunnies, black flats and my favorite purse.

Still dreaming of the warmer days of last week in Santa Monica. I am back in Kentucky where the temperature has been 18 degrees all the way to almost 60. Mother natural cannot make up her mind. Anyway, my travel style is casual. This is one of my favorite sweaters and I get compliments on it every time I wear it. I paired it with simple black leggings and a v-neck short sleeved tee. I accessorized with aviators sunglasses from Diff Eyewear, which is a company that provides reading glasses to people in need, meaning that every pair of sunglasses that is  purchased by you or someone else allows a child or adult to see clearly, the Maddison May crossbody; found here, and a cute wood necklace that I received as a gift all the way from Australia.
