It’s holiday time! So what are you going to wear? Let me help. From now until the holidays I will be doing holiday looks on the blog that are easy to recreate. Some casual, some dressy and some in-between.
My first holiday look starts with a simple black skinny jean or a skinny pant, something that we all have in our closet. I paired it with a cranberry or merlot colored silk blouse that has sheer cape sleeves. This statement piece is too die for and will be on heavy rotation this season. I’m pretty sure this color is the color of the holidays. I added leopard print heels for texture and flair. So if you are looking for a holiday outfit you can wear to work as well as attend a social function, after hitting the grind, this is my outfit of choice.

With the weather being so up and down it is hard to decide what to wear. I mean it’s 70+ one day and then 30 something the next. So when mother nature is confused it’s best to dress in layers, like I did in this outfit below. Wearing a tank and adding a blazer or jacket makes it easy to shed clothing through out the day if it turns from cold to hot. I paired a dual colored jacket
with a bold purple ruffled tank
and black skinny jeans
. I accessorized the outfit with my favorite leopard clutch
, black heels
, and gold jewelry (necklace
). My favorite part about this outfit is that it can be easily recreated with many items already in your closet.
What is your favorite piece you keep on rotation right now??
Valentine’s Day is around the corner. Do you have your outfit ready? If not let me help you with a little outfit inspiration. As you know red and pink are the colors for the occasion, but I usually enjoy them more as accents instead of having an outfit that is one solid color.
For this Valentine’s day outfit inspo I am loving a dress, so this gold and ivory one is perfect. Find a similar one here
. I paired it with my red accents, which include a blazer
and a statement necklace
. I finished the outfit with a little leopard print, which are my favorite pair of heels
and this clutch

Leopard print has always been a trend that can be added to your wardrobe, accessories and home decor. Most think that it is a neutral and can be added as an accent to many colors, I definitely agree. I have been known to say leopard print is my favorite color, if you can consider it a color. Below I have outlined some of my favorite leopard print attire, accessories, and home furnishings that are very popular at the moment. Cold mornings, cool nights, football games, and hot chocolate…Fall is in full swing. The leaves are turing and the layers of clothing are starting to come out. But some days it is still in between cold and deciding if you want to sweat all day in the perfect outfit you just cannot wait to wear . So lately I have been choosing what I would call a fall alternative outfit. It is cool enough to let air in but you are covered up if that blast of cold comes through. I paired skinny jeans (here), which are great for cold or warm weather, with a light long sleeved button up (similar here), along with open suede flats. I accented this outfit with leopard (clutch, belt), and a necklace and sunglasses to finish the look. What is your favorite fall alternative outfit? Shop mine below.

Yesterday I was in our local paper, The Courier Journal. It may not be a big deal to some but I am honored about the exposure. Every Sunday the paper runs the Scene section, which basically covers beauty and style trends. In this section they feature a Stylemaker, a man or women with unique personal style. You have to be nominated by someone. One of my best friends was gracious enough to nominate me, Thanks Audrey! Check out the article online here and shop my outfit below.
I am a big fan of rompers. They are just such an easy outfit to put together and since you can find causal ones and more dressy ones you can wear them to many social functions.
The one I am wearing in this post (found here), I consider to be a more dressed up romper. Since it solid black and has cape sleeves, which give it more detail, it is suitable to wear for a night out with friends or on a date with your significant other. I personally wore this outfit to a bachelorette party.
Leopard and black go great together. The black makes the pattern pop. I paired this romper with a pair of leopard heels (here
) and a leopard clutch (found here
). I further accessorized with a multi-colored necklace (similar one here
), plum earrings
, and sunnies (similar
). This look is easy to create and super stylish and comfortable. Are you romper girl? Shop the rest of my look below.
