Always a Dress Girl

                           Shop: Dress | Earrings | Sunglasses | Watch | Booties | Lipstick
I think that dresses are the most easiest and stylish piece of attire that any woman can wear. An all in one outfit with no stress of finding coordinating individual clothing that comes together to make a full look. This dress is one of my favorites and it is no surprise that it is animal print. I like the thicker material that it is constructed with, which makes it great for Fall. I bought this dress at a local boutique (Work the Metal), but have linked similar ones below. I paired it with black booties, a black leather cross body, added some color with my sunnies and these cute earrings.

City Girl

Shop: Dress (one, two, three) | Earrings | Booties | Clutch | Lipstick

I have always been a city girl! I love the busyness, all the people, the buzz in the air, and the feeling of motivated people getting from one place to another. Are you a city person or do you like things a little more slower pace? Either way this dress is perfect for a night out in the city. The details work great to hide any parts you don’t want to showcase, as well give your figure some shape. For the fall this dress pairs well with booties or over the knee boots. I accessorized with a brown leather clutch, leather earrings and burgundy lipstick. This is a date night, girls night out, or a night at the theater to see a broadway play type dress. Guess Who’s Back

Guess who’s back, back again! I took a quick break from blogging to do some wedding and other business stuff but now I am back. The wedding is two weeks from today and I feel pretty calm about it, but ask me how I am doing in a week, lol! Anyway, fall is among us. Actually the first day of fall is my wedding day. So how are you transitioning to fall like weather? Me, with cute dresses and booties of course! Like in this outfit, it is perfect for those still warm afternoons and even cooler mornings and evenings. Booties are probably one of my favorite things about colder weather. I plan to add some new ones to my shoe closet this season, so stay tuned! What are you looking forward to this fall?

Colorful Transition Outfit

A bold color always makes a statement! Color is great for the Spring season, so I added lots of it to this transition outfit. All through the calendar says it’s Spring we all know that does not mean the temperature says it is. So when it is cold in the morning and warmer in the afternoon I like to opt for layers like I did below.

I paired a cream sweater dress (similar here) with a bright fuchsia cardigan. I added further color to the outfit by choosing navy leggings, c/o Comm-Ci , a company that specializes in chic, comfortable, well fitting leggings. Then accessorized with fun tassel earrings that screams I’M CRAZY FOR COLOR!! 🙂 I finished the outfit with tan booties, my favorite handbag, and a watch to match.

What is you favorite way to add color to an outfit?

Sweater Dress

Dress | Booties | Handbag | Bracelets (here, here) | lipstick | Earrings

Sometimes it is easier to just go for the simple dressed up look. A sweater dress can do just that for you. As temperatures continue to drop a sweater dress is a great way to style up your wardrobe and keep warm at the same time. In the Fall wear a sweater dress with booties (these are some of my favorites here). I kept my dress a basic gray color (similar, similar), pairing it with a black handbag (here), and gold jewelry (earrings, bracelet). To give my outfit a pop of color I added a red lip. Transitioning to Fall in a Maxi

Long sleeve maxi | Cap sleeve maxi | Short Sleeve maxi | V-Neck Maxi
Today is the first day of Fall, and you know what that means? Colder temperatures are on there way.

The best way to transition from warmer temperatures to average or cooler temps is with a maxi dress.  A maxi with sleeves are the most desirable for Fall weather. They do dual duty, keeping you warm when it is chilly, but yet is light and airy enough for those afternoon warmer temperatures. When transitioning wearing booties are great. Booties say it is fall but not yet winter and many pair well with maxi dresses. Try these booties with your maxi.

There are many great maxi’s that are in style for the Fall. A long sleeve one is idea. This one here is to die for. A short sleeve maxi is also great when mother nature hasn’t realized that the thermometer  should be on the lower end of the scale. Try this short sleeved maxi if you are looking to add one to your closet. Are you a maxi dress girl? If so, what is one of your favorites? Shop mine below.

Fall Essentials

                       One | Two | Three | Four | Five | Six | Seven | Eight | Nine | Ten | Eleven

I know many of you do not want to talk about it or mention the name, but fall is upon us and just around the corner. Fall is actually one of my favorite seasons because all of the fashion and style that it entails.

Fall is a great time to start layering because it is relatively cool in the morning and warming in the afternoon. Because of this a girl needs many essentials, starting with a jacket for those cool crisp mornings. Two of my favorites are here and here. When it gets a bit colder I love this one here. Fall is also the time to get your shoe game on point. It is officially boot season. Ones to add to your collection are these and these.

Blanket scarfs are a must during the colder season. How cute is this oversized scarf here? They are a great accessory and can change the whole dynamic of an outfit. Jeans are always great for any season. These are a pair of my favorites here. One thing to add to your wardrobe for the colder temps is longer sleeves, so try this button down or this sweater. What are some of your favorite fall essentials? Shop mine below.

Holiday Look 2

You can never go wrong with a gold skirt. Am I right? Gold is definitely a color for the holiday. It is a great alternative to the usual red that you see everyone wearing. Don’t get me wrong I love red, but I like to switch it up sometimes.

I love the length of this one because you can wear it almost anywhere,  such as your work christmas party, family or friend holiday get together, and even to a holiday church service. I paired this one with a tank, a little black jacket, and some booties. I have linked similar looks below. Hope you enjoy!

Still Wearing White

Is anyone else still wearing white? I am because i’m definitely not a rule follower. I actually think that white looks great in the winter. When worn with the right accents and colors white in fall and winter can be pulled off.

I chose to wear white jeans and paired it with a pink cardigan and gray booties. I love this look. It’s one of my favorites. I also chose to add an item of the season which is a floppy felt hat. I usually think I can’t pull off a hat but I think it looks pretty good. I have linked some similar items below.

Dainty Jewell

Happy Monday All! Lets talk about the perfect tulle skirt. If you are a fan of tulle this polk a dot tutu is for you. It’s made for twirling.

This skirt from Dainty Jewell’s comes in two colors you can find the black one here. Dainty Jewell’s is a online boutique that prides itself on selling stylish modest clothes for women and young girls. They have some great pieces. You should definitely check them out.

I paired this tulle skirt with a brightly colored blue top and grey leather jacket. When worn with peep toe booties and a leopard clutch it gives the skirt a little bit of an edge but still allows the outfit to be modest. This skirt can be paired with many styles of tops to give it a different look. Check out my look below. I have linked some similar pieces. Hope you enjoy!
