Mediterranean food is one of my favorite types of food but sometimes it can be labeled as costly, unhealthy and time consuming to make. Well not anymore.

It offers numerous recipes from salads to entrees and desserts, so you will be sure to find many that you like. All ingredients can be found at your local grocery or farmer’s market which make it easy and cost effective to prepare.  One of my favorite recipes from the book is the Tomato and Red Onion Salad. This is so simple to make and you probably have most of the ingredients in your refrigerator already. It literally takes 15 minutes and is great for lunch or to take to a dinner party.
