Ego Soleil 2017 Spring Summer Collection

Earlier this month Ego Soleil held a launch party  in collaboration with Style Saves to premier their 2017 Spring Summer Collection.

Ego Soleil is a contemporary New York-based fashion house, which started in 2012. They focus on  quality and attention to detail at affordable prices. They are not afraid to use bold color, texture, or prints to create amazing collections. Style Saves is an organization that brings together fashion and philanthropy (which are two of my favorite things). This organization raises money by partnering with fashion and style events, such as the Ego Soleil 2017 Spring Summer Collection Launch, to provide underprivileged students with necessities for schools. Examples being uniforms, shoes, glasses, and school supplies. Style Saves works nationally and internationally to make parents and student’s lives better.

Ego Soleil’s 2017 Spring Summer Collections is to die for. I love the color combinations of orange, white, black and magenta. There are a variety of dresses and skirts to choose from, as well as a chic jumpsuit, a long blazer,  dressy black pants that needs to be in everyone’s closet, and my new personal favorite, a hot pink leather jacket. What woman doesn’t need one of those? The use of color and straight clean lines makes this fashion line great for the business woman, socialite, and even the girl next door.

For a piece of this beautiful collection you may want to follow @egosoleil, on Instagram and Twitter, to hear the latest news about the upcoming online store and pop-up shop. If you add a piece of this to your collection, come back and let me know what you bought.

Courier Journal Stylemaker

                                        Dress | Belt | Clutch | Shoes | Watch | Bracelet | Lipstick

Yesterday I was in our local paper, The Courier Journal. It may not be a big deal to some but I am honored about the exposure. Every Sunday the paper runs the Scene section, which basically covers beauty and style trends. In this section they feature a Stylemaker, a man or women with unique personal style. You have to be nominated by someone. One of my best friends was gracious enough to nominate me, Thanks Audrey! Check out the article online here and shop my outfit below.

Fall Essentials

                       One | Two | Three | Four | Five | Six | Seven | Eight | Nine | Ten | Eleven

I know many of you do not want to talk about it or mention the name, but fall is upon us and just around the corner. Fall is actually one of my favorite seasons because all of the fashion and style that it entails.

Fall is a great time to start layering because it is relatively cool in the morning and warming in the afternoon. Because of this a girl needs many essentials, starting with a jacket for those cool crisp mornings. Two of my favorites are here and here. When it gets a bit colder I love this one here. Fall is also the time to get your shoe game on point. It is officially boot season. Ones to add to your collection are these and these.

Blanket scarfs are a must during the colder season. How cute is this oversized scarf here? They are a great accessory and can change the whole dynamic of an outfit. Jeans are always great for any season. These are a pair of my favorites here. One thing to add to your wardrobe for the colder temps is longer sleeves, so try this button down or this sweater. What are some of your favorite fall essentials? Shop mine below.

Casual Wear

Even in casual wear there is no reason not to be put together. This look is super easy and comfortable. It is great for running errands or a low key outing with friends. I paired this Polo dress (here) with stylish sneakers (found here) and accessorized with sparkly stud earrings (here). I finished the look with sunglasses and a watch. What is your favorite casual look? Shop mine below.

Solebrity means social celebrity, trendsetter, or influencer. This app allows you to shop, share, earn, and donate. Shop your favorite brands with Solebrity, which has a wide variety to choose from such as Dior, Nike, Louis Vuitton, American Eagle, Marc Jacobs, and Michael Kors. While shopping share some of your favorite looks with friends or other influencers, through the app by pushing the starred share icon. Solebrity helps you create unique looks based on you individual style. The more you use the app to shop and share the more it personalizes the items you see, which is super convenient. Not having to scroll through a large number of images to find something that you like is genius.

Another great thing about this app is you can earn money, solebrity badges, and rewards each time your followers buy something you endorse. If that is not enough for you to download the app, then this is, Solebrity is a company that loves to give back. They donate 10% of their earn revenue on every transaction to four different charities each month. The charities for August are Charity: Water, American Red Cross, Boulder Crest Retreat, Every Child Fed. Solebrity is a great app, so download it and follow me Absolutely Alli.

  Lilly Pulitzer Agenda

Since school is starting back it is always a great time to get organized. There are many planners and agendas on the market, but my favorite one is the Lilly Pulitzer Hard Cover Agenda (exact one found here). I have been using Lilly agendas for the past four years. The reason why I love these is because they are 17 month agendas, so you can plan for the near or long future. It has both weekly and monthly pages to plan out your social, work or school schedules. This agenda has a travel journal, dates to remember and a page for notes. It is very well organized with labeled tabs for each month and all the extra pages. Lilly agendas come in three different sizes to fit your needs and price. Other favorite Lilly print Agenda’s are this one and this one. What is your favorite agenda?

Jewelry Staples

Statement bracelet (similar, similar
Every girl needs a jewelry collection. Whether you can afford expensive, middle of the road or you just enjoy costume jewelry there are a couple staples that you need.

Statement necklaces are a must. They can turn any outfit into a more dressy one. You only need a couple of these necklaces and you can interchange them with different outfits. Some of my favorite can be found here and here.
A girl also needs a statement ring. It is a great accessory to add if you are a jewelry lover. When I travel I love to find different and unique rings to add to my jewelry box.  Find some affordable rings here and here
A watch is a must. I have a collection of them, but you only really need just one. This watch is from Wristology. They have a great selection of watches that will not break the bank. Use code: AA20 for 20% off and free shipping.
Bangles are a good accessory to add to an outfit. They pretty much go with everything from jeans to dresses. You can have just one bangle are you can fill up your wrist. I love the look of a bunch of bangles and the noise they make when you move your arm. Am I the only one? Shop some of my favorite bangles here and here.
A jewelry lover has to have several pairs of earrings. I always wear earrings regardless of where I am going or what I am doing. Earrings just make you look more put together even if you somewhat look a mess. I even wear them when I am working out, studs of course! Find some of my picks here, here, and here

A piece that I really love is a huge statement bracelet. The bigger the better. They are just so fun. I like a gold one or a rose gold with a solid color outfit (especially black), to make everything just pop. Statement bracelets that I would love to add to my jewelry box are here and here
What are your favorite jewelry staples? Shop the rest of mine below. Hope you enjoy!

Romper Style

I am a big fan of rompers. They are just such an easy outfit to put together and since you can find causal ones and more dressy ones you can wear them to many social functions.

The one I am wearing in this post (found here), I consider to be a more dressed up romper. Since it solid black and has cape sleeves, which give it more detail, it is suitable to wear for a night out with friends or on a date with your significant other. I personally wore this outfit to a bachelorette party.

Leopard and black go great together. The black makes the pattern pop. I paired this romper with a pair of leopard heels (here) and a leopard clutch (found here). I further accessorized with a multi-colored necklace (similar one here), plum earrings, and sunnies (similar). This look is easy to create and super stylish and comfortable. Are you romper girl?
