Happy Saturday! I love and hate this time of year because you never know how to dress. It is cold one minute and hot the next, but I am not ready to let go of summer yet. So I am still somewhat dressing for the occasion. This look was for a casual night with the girls. Wide leg jeans are comfortable and a must to keep in your closet. I paired them with a loose fitting tank and accessorized with the cutest clutch (which you can find here). I also added a collection of my favorite necklaces (here and here), then finished the outfit with sandals and a pair of hoops.

Are you ready for Fall? What is you favorite transition piece? Shop my outfit below.

Saturday Sangria

Stemless Wine glasses | Wine glasses (stems) | Wine topper | Decanter | Wine Tote
Saturday’s and especially holiday weekends are for sangria. Who is with me?

If you are a wino like me than you love a good sangria. I have tried many recipes but the one below I have perfected to my liking and many of of my friend’s liking.

Red Wine Sangria

2 full bottle of your favorite red wine
1 can of Sprite
1 cup of brandy
A mix of your favorite fruits (apples, peaches, strawberries, and blackberries work the best)

Combine all the ingredients in a decanter or large bowl. Make sure you cut the fruit into smaller pieces. This way the natural juices of the fruit can soak with the wine. If you like a sweeter sangria opt for a sweet wine or add 1/4 cup sugar. I prefer less sweet. The Sprite also adds a little sweetness. Let this mixture chill or an hour or till it’s ready to be served.

For presentation I use a glass decanter. My favorite one is this Red Wine Decanter by Bella Vino (found here). I like this one because it fits1000ml of wine, it improves the taste of wine because it softens Tannis (found in reds), its design makes it easy to pour and use, and it is made from lead-free crystal glass. This Bella Vino Decanter also looks great as a centerpiece when throwing social gatherings at your house.
What are your favorite drink recipes made with wine? Please share because I am always looking for new ones. Also shop affordable wine products below. Hope you enjoy!

Where are my wine lovers at? If you are like me you love a good wine. You reach for that before any other drink. I am the girl at the tailgate party before the game asking for the wine instead of beer. Don’t get me wrong, I will indulge in a beer every once in a while but there is nothing like a good glass of wine. These Vino Mio Foldable Wine Bottles  are awesome, which you can find here. Basically it is an easy and convenient way to store and transport your favorite wine.

The Vino Mio is durable and leak proof. Not only is it reuseable, it is collapsible, and foldable so it can fit almost anywhere. It is great for when you do not want to be bothered with a glass bottle, or to tote around a wine opener. Just fill up your Vino Mio wine bottle at home and you can transport it to the event or party you plan to attend. It is perfect for BBQs, picnics, tailgating, the beach, or upcoming holiday parties. It is easy to pour, easy to fill, and works great to store your wine when you do not have a wine cork. The Vino Mio holds up to 750ML of liquid and is less heavy than an actual wine glass bottle. The best part about it is that there is a 100% lifetime money back guarantee if you are not satisfied with the product. Honestly any company that gives a lifetime guarantee deserves my business. They are affordable and convenient, two of the main things I look for when purchasing any product. Below I have linked some great wine glasses if you need to add to your collection. Try out the Vino Mio Foldable Bottle and let me know how you like it. Enjoy!

KDF Winefest

Morning Loves! Hope this week is treating you well. Last week I attended the Kentucky Derby Festival (KDF) Winefest. It is one of the events that takes place leading up to the Derby. See all the events here. This is the third time I attended this event.  It is a annual outing that one of my friends and I like to to do each year together. Over 20 wineries in Kentucky and southern Indiana set up shop on the Belvedere near the Ohio River for a 2 day wine tasting event. If you didn’t already know….I am a wino! Lol! This is a great way to sample multiple wines, to see which ones you like and to socialize with a group of friends. Check out my day at the KDF Winefest and my outfit details. Hope you enjoy.

About Last Night…..

Last night I went to a Christmas get together with some friends. A little wine tasting, conversation and dinner. I always love getting together with this group of girls. The older you get the harder it is to find a time to get together with everyone. Do you have a group of friends that you get together with around Christmas to exchange gifts and conversation?
