I do not know about you but I think that every fall I need to get a new coat. So during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale in August I scooped up this collarless crepe topper. I paired it with white skinny jeans (yes you can wear white after Labor Day), a simple gray tee and gray booties, which are great for transitioning to cooler temperatures. I additionally accessorized this outfit with a cute scarf that has skulls on it, bright earrings and necklace, and a cross body. A cross body is great for travel because it is easy to carry and more secure.
These pictures were taken while I was in Big Sky, Montana. If you have never been to Montana I recommend it. Big Sky, Montana is a ski resort village nestled on top of the Lone Peak Mountain and Mountain Village. If you are an avid skier, then I am sure you have been there, considering that Big Sky is known to be the biggest ski place in America. They have lots of activities for the non skier too. Check out their website to plan trip.

Even though it doesn’t feel like it here in Kentucky, Thursday is the first day of Fall. It is still warm and humid! Ugh! But no fear it is coming and last week I got my first taste of it, while I was in Montana. Can you believe it even snowed?

One thing I do suggest if you are planning on visiting Big Sky
, bring warm clothes! This is not a joke! It snows in September, but it is beautiful. I combatted the 30-40 degree temps in this stylish fur vest
, paired with a 3/4 length sleeve high/low tunic
and white denim jeans
. Yes you can wear white after labor. I finished the outfit with tan booties
and a tan purse
, followed by accessorizing it with a pop of turquoise in these earrings

It has been awhile since I did an Instagram roundup. So below I have linked details to many of my favorites outfits seen on the blog and social media in the past couple weeks. Hope you are having a good week. Stay stylish!

Happy Saturday ! How was your week? Mine was good but I wish it actually felt like Spring not like Fall. Ugh! This is why I am day dreaming about still being in the Palm Desert, where I shot this look below. The Palm Desert is beautiful. If you have never been you should definitely put it on you bucket list, but just not in the dead of summer because it gets hot. Real Hot!
This look is one of my favorites. It was great to roam to the shops of El Paseo, the Rodeo Dr. of the Palm Desert. I wore white denim skinny jeans (found here) and paired it with a button up polk a dot shirt (similar here and here). I accessorized the outfit with Kendra Scott Jewelry (earrings here, necklace here), a leopard belt that I think goes with everything (here), this hunter green cross body (similar here and here), and these tan sandals that are sure to be on rotation all summer (here). I am such a fan of mixing patterns such a I did with the polk a dots and leopard because it adds a little personal style to an outfit. The watch I am wearing is from Wristology, website here. They have great watches for women. All different styles and colors. Use code: AA20 for 20% off and free shipping. Also, if you are in the Palm Desert Area and looking for a great photographer check out Erica Mendenhall Photography (website here). Shop my look below. Hope you enjoy!

Who is ready for Spring? I definitely am. I cannot wait for the days of cool mornings and warm even hot afternoons and evenings. In the spring and summer I love to wear dresses.
They are the easiest thing to put on and can literally be worn anywhere. To work, church, a wedding and out with friends. Since spring and summer are big time wedding seasons I put together a look I plan on wearing to an upcoming wedding this summer.
I love this floral dress (similar here
, and here
). It is great for an indoor or outdoor wedding. I paired it with a white blazer (found here
). Blazers are awesome for coverups for sleeveless dresses especially for outdoor or evening wedding. I literally have 6-8 blazers because they are a great compliment to almost any outfit. I accessorized this outfit with Kendra Scott earrings (here
) and necklace (here)
Watch is from Wristology (found here

) and wedges (favorites here
) to finish the look. What is your favorite wedding look? Shop my look below. Hope you enjoy!
Spring is around the corner. So Spring Cleaning is a must for your wardrobe. So out with the old and in with the new. If you are like me than you are a dress girl in the spring and summer. They are just super easy and comfortable. Plus many dresses can be taken from day to night by just adding different shoes, such as heels, and changing up your lipstick and jewelry.
There are some great dresses out for Spring right now. Many of them could definitely be staples in you closet. Some of my favorites are this For Love & Lemons Temecula Maxi Dress (here
), this Maggy London Tie Dye Crepe Midi Sheath Dress (here
), and this Ted Baker “Zaldana’ Floral Print Fit & Flare (here
). All of these are great dresses to add to your collection. Shop many more of my favorites below. Hope you enjoy!
It is almost NYE. Have you picked out your outfit? Have you finalized plans? I don’t do something every NYE but every once and awhile I like to get all dolled up and go out.
This year my boyfriend and I are going to Chicago for his birthday and for NYE. Although it will be cold it should be a good time. I love an opportunity to get all dress up for an occasion, so I picked an outfit that was fitting for that. A silver sequins dress paired with a black velvet blazer and booties. I accessorized it with pink lipstick, a pink clutch and a pink necklace I made myself. I also added silver earrings and a ring with an aquamarine stone (my birthstone). I have to say this is one of my favorite looks and I will have to find somewhere else to wear this after NYE. Shop my look below. Have a happy and safe NYE! Hope you enjoy!

Christmas is less than a week away and if you are like me you still have gifts to buy and wrap. I work well under pressure, it’s the life of a procrastinator to do so. One thing I will not be stressing about is what to wear on Christmas day or to a Christmas party. A cocktail dress is usually always fitting for the occasion.
Wether you are going to your family gathering or to a fancy holiday shindig, a cocktail dress will also work. I paired the dress with a black jacket and purse, bright jewelry and topped it off with a shiny pair of heels. What is you favorite thing to wear on Christmas? Shop similar looks below. Hope you enjoy.
There comes a time when you find the perfect dress that you just want to wear it everywhere. Or is it just the perfect dress that is acceptable to wear everywhere?
I mean you can wearing to work, church, date night, or even to a social event or party. Any dress that can be worn to multiple functions is a winner in my book. Do you have a dress like that? I feel that way about this dress. It has been in my closet for awhile (this is one of those great shop your closet moments), and I not sure why I have not worn it. This fitted dress is a great alternative to the the LBD if you want to add some color to your wardrobe. I paired it with a leather jacket and leopard heels. You can never go wrong with a little leopard. I topped it off with gold jewelry and a tote to match. I have linked similar items below. Hope you enjoy!
Happy Monday All! I hope you had a good weekend with all that is going on in the world. On a brighter note the weather has been amazing the past couple days. It has not been too cold, but just warm enough to wear dresses without tights which I love. Dresses and boots is one of my favorite combinations. I will be wearing them as long as I can. It is an easy but stylish outfit to put together, especially with a great pair of riding boots. I paired a bright dress with a neutral boot and tote. See the outfit below. I also linked details below. Hope you enjoy!
