Here are some of the things I was and currently still obsessing over this past month. I love the Gal Meets Glam X Baublebar collaboration. And I loving this wine/ burgundy color popping up everywhere. Oh and thigh length boots. What are some of your October Obsessions? Check out my obsessions below. Hope you enjoy!
So I am always on the look out for new skincare. As I get older I know I should take care of my skin more. I have pretty sensitive skin. I am allergic to the sun (I breakout in hives….no fun!), I have eczema, and I am sensitive to a lot of fragrance. I have tried a lot of serums and vitamins in the past. I usually do pretty good with vitamins, not so much with serums.
My skin on my face just doesn’t really like serums (I have tried others and gotten the same results). What happens is that it breaks out in small bumps and when I stop using it they go away. Same thing happened with the Vitamin C Serum Advanced. But….there is always a but, I did use the serum on my eczema (which is on my leg) and it has helped start the process of clearing it up. For this I do recommend this product. You may have better luck with it for your face. You can find it here. The serum and vitamins come in a affordable bundle both having all natural phytoceramides extract, which strengthens collagen, reduces wrinkles, and helps rejuvenate skin cells. The vitamins give you some daily nutrients that is needed (A,C,D,&E), but it not the full daily percent you need so make sure you are adding more into your diet. All in all the vitamins seem to be working good. I would recommend this product even though the serum didn’t work for my face (I knew going into it that it probably won’t), but it has gotten many great reviews that you can see here. If you end up trying it out let me know how it worked for you.

Is anyone else still wearing white? I am because i’m definitely not a rule follower. I actually think that white looks great in the winter. When worn with the right accents and colors white in fall and winter can be pulled off.
I chose to wear white jeans and paired it with a pink cardigan and gray booties. I love this look. It’s one of my favorites. I also chose to add an item of the season which is a floppy felt hat. I usually think I can’t pull off a hat but I think it looks pretty good. I have linked some similar items below.

If you are like me you are always looking for unique jewelry that know one else has. Lotus Butterfly Boutique
is one of the places I have found that has what I am looking for.
The Lotus Butterfly was started by a mother/daughter duo who wanted to offer jewelry and other gifts that were heartfelt, transformational gifts inspired by nature, beauty, and kindness. All at affordable prices. The really have some cool things. Check them out here. They specialize in items made by artisans and small family run businesses. Which I personally think is awesome. They carry many different artist one in particular is Clara Beau. Check out some of her jewelry below.
jewelry is very dainty and girly. It reminds me of antique jewelry but for the modern girl. The reason I am fond of her jewelry is because it can dress up a casual outfit as well as be complimentary to more fancier attire.
The two pieces here have a vintage feel with lots of little details. I love the chandelier earrings with the rose gold crystals and how the closure of the bracelet is next to the eye catching brooch like detail. There is a hint of modern in every vintage detail.
The Lotus Butterfly Boutique has great unique gifts whether you are searching for yourself or for someone else. You can check out all they have to offer here
and don’t forget to enter the giveaway.
Giveaway: Lotus Butterly is gracious enough to give one of my readers a free piece of Clara Beau jewelry. Head to my Instagram and click on the Lotus Butterfly jewelry post for details.
Hope you enjoy!!

If you are like me you have been waiting for fall. It has been a slow process but I think it is finally here. What that means to me is puffy vest and boots. Who is with me here?
I think that this is perfect weekend wear. But I have to confess I have like 10 puffy vest and I have been anxiously waiting to break them out. On the weekends I love to be casual unless I have an event to attend or a date with the boyfriend (lets face it sometimes you still need to get dolled up for them.) A vest and jeans are great for running errands and hanging out with family and friends. Honestly these puffy vest remind me of bonfires and smores, which I hope to indulge in a lot this year. I paired these with a thin polk-a-dot sweatshirt and a great bag to add a little style. Check it out and shop the look below. I found that the most inexpensive place to find these vest is Old Navy.

Are you prone to dropping your phone like me? How many iPhone or Android screens have you shattered and had to wait for months to get a new one because your plan wasn’t up? Well I have the solution.
intelliGLASS by intelliArmor. This product has literally saved my phone. It is a real glass screen protector. We have all tried those protectors that bubble up where you can’t see your screen clearly, or the ones that promise that it is shatter proof but they are really not (I am speaking from experience here). I love the ones that say that the touch screen will still work with the protector and the second you have it put back together you realize it doesn’t. How are you suppose to use your phone?
intelliGlass is the real deal. Believe me I have tested it and not necessarily on purpose. The other day I got out of my car and forgot my phone was in my lap…..you know the rest of the story. intelliGlass saved my phone from shattering the screen. It is made of real hardened glass that is scratch and smudge resistant. This protector absorbs shock. Meaning it can take a pretty good beating. Those of you with toddlers should invest. Since it is made of real glass you retain the touchscreen capabilities and no bubbles. This thing is literally so thin you don’t even know its on there. Its great for people who don’t like to put on those bulky cases. Oh and one more thing its super easy to install and it’s affordable. Something we all love.
Giveaway: intelliArmor wants to give one of my readers a free intelliGlass protector for their smart phone. Details are on this picture on my Instagram. Good luck!
Find all the intelliGlass products here. They have them for multiple smart phones and tablets.
Try it out and let me know what you think. Hope you enjoy!

Everybody loves a little weekend getaway to Vegas, right? I know I do. The one thing I don’t like about traveling is figure out what to wear. In Vegas you have to transition your outfits from day to night. Meaning you will probably be wearing multiple outfits in one day.
So I always try to plan out my outfits for a trip. A few months back my boyfriend and I took a weekend trip to Vegas to see Aerosmith play at the MGM Grand Garden Arena . We had an awesome time. Who doesn’t have an awesome in Vegas? Below you will find how I planned and transitioned my outfits throughout the weekend. Check out some of the other great Las Vegas hotels and find inspiration on how you’d plan to transition your own outfits. Hope you enjoy!
Chicago O’Hara Airport First Class Lounge waiting to go to Vegas. I love to travel on planes in a maxi because it is comfortable. It is also easy to add and take away clothing due to temperature.
What do you do after you check into the MGM Grand Hotel
? Head over to Tap Bar and Sports Bar for a beer.
A romper to check out the strip. The fit is comfortable and light to combat the desert heat.
Heading to Rehab
for a day pool party. This outfit is light and works great as a swimsuit cover up.
A skirt and leopard heels w/ a pop of color is a great option for dinner at Prime Steakhouse
Straightened hair and about to check out the nightlife @LAX. A little black dress is always a good idea in Vegas.

Happy Monday All! Lets talk about the perfect tulle skirt. If you are a fan of tulle this polk a dot tutu is for you. It’s made for twirling.
This skirt from Dainty Jewell’s comes in two colors you can find the black one here. Dainty Jewell’s is a online boutique that prides itself on selling stylish modest clothes for women and young girls. They have some great pieces. You should definitely check them out.
I paired this tulle skirt with a brightly colored blue top and grey leather jacket. When worn with peep toe booties and a leopard clutch it gives the skirt a little bit of an edge but still allows the outfit to be modest. This skirt can be paired with many styles of tops to give it a different look. Check out my look below. I have linked some similar pieces. Hope you enjoy!
